Our Annual Candlelight service for the holiday in which all members of the community are invited to attend.

Dr. Suess Read Across America program in which members are asked to read at librarys or other facilities for our youth
Toys for Tots
As one of the organizations who distribute toys to children in the inner city, Stars of light #34 has become recognized by many for their unique distribution of toys. In the past we have combined our Candlelight service with Toys for Tots, A pic with Santa and a snack and last year our "Operation Night Santa" in Essex County, NJ was a hit in the communities we went to.
Holiday Baskets
A food basket at any time is wonderful thought, but during the holidays it means so much more to the families who recieve them. Each year Stars of Light #34 partner with Universal Masonic Brotherhood Inc. Lodges to gather goods and create baskets for distribution for Thanksgving and Christmas.
Annual Scholarship fundraiser – April 12th, 2014
A yearly function known as "GREEN TEA" brings our fellow Brothers and Sisters together to give scholarships to a few deserving High School Seniors seeking higher education. Our Green Tea affair is usually a semi-formal event held at venue within the state where all welcome to attend. This year's event is held at the Cranbury Inn in Cranbury, NJ from 3pm- 9pm

Annual Easter Egg Event
Stars of light #34 as well as other organizations participate in the Annual Easter Event held in Montclair, New Jerey at Glenfield Park. As Participants our chapter is on hand to help children make Easter Hats, assist in the Egg Hunt, Oversee various games and activites, serve food and other tasks. All vendors participating are asked to donate supplies for the event. This year event known as "Spring Fling", Stars of Light #34 will be donating over 200 color and activity books.
Applebee's Flapjack Fundraiser

Our annual Applebee's Fundraiser is held to raise awareness for various causes that Stars of Light #34 support. This Year in honor of National Stroke Awareness month, we will be hosting our fundraiser breakfast around this cause at the Applebee's Jersey City Location.from
8:00am -10:oo am
Holiday Baskets 2014
This Thanksgiving we are givining away 3 food baskets filled with a complete meal for a family to cook. We will also be donating a food basket for Christmas and for the 1st time a small "Comfort "basket for a few people. As we continue to grow within our communities, our basket giveaway will increase. our annual Holiday raffle for 2014 consist of a Dell 7" Tablet, a Fragrance Basket and a $25 gift card. Tickets are $2.00 and all proceeds go towards our Green Tea Scholarship banquet held in April 2015
